Reduce, Refill & Reuse, Recycle.

Reduce: your packaging footprint. Make a commitment and be nicer to your wallet and the planet.

Refill & Reuse: your glass Face Oil and Cleanser bottles, Bronzing Powder and Lip Oil compacts.

According to Zero Waste Week, the Beauty Industry is responsible for the production of more than 120 billion units of packaging every year, contributing to the loss of 18 million acres of forest annually.

What the actual fuck, right?

But what happens when an industry has made products that you want to buy? How do we pause and reflect, and correct?

There’s no perfect answer in a world geared towards consumption. The next best thing we can do is reduction.

Let’s say you use a plastic packaged moisturiser or lip balm every 3 months. That’s 4 products a year, per person. Over the next 50 years of so, that’s 200 pieces of plastic.

Imagine if you and 10 of your friends switched to refillable, non-plastic packaging? That could be 2,000 less pieces of plastic on the earth.

By reducing the amount of single use plastic packaging, we are leaving less waste on the planet. Individual action that influences others can create change. The more that consumers demand from an industry, especially of the bigger players, the more that we can expect to change.

Fluff is a member of 1% for the planet. This means that we have committed to donate the equivalent of 1% of gross annual sales through a combination of monetary, in-kind and approved promotional support directly to environmental nonprofits. In addition to this, Fluff has donated to and supported the following organisations: The Orangutan Project, Black Lives Matter, The Stand With Asians American Fund, Common Ground Australia, Change the Record, and the Balu Blue Foundation. We are committed to becoming a BCORP certified business and PETA by the end of 2022.
